Say Hello to Your At Home Gym for under $100

hello.jpg

As a mom, wife, trainer, taxi driver, cook, creative, cleaning lady and schedule coordinator (to name a few:) my schedule is rather hectic! As a result, it is soooo much easier for me to workout at home. While I do enjoy heading to the gym to try new equipment and workout with friends, the ease of walking down to the basement and getting in a killer workout can’t be beat! When I reference walking down to my basement to workout, please don’t be deceived. It is the basement in a hundred year old house with low ceilings, a washer and dryer, area for kids to watch tv and….an area for me to keep my at home gym equipment. By no means do I have a large, designated space to use only as a gym. I’ve carved out a small area in a multi-functioning basement that I call my gym. And truth be told…I LOVE IT! Nothing beats having the ability to get your workout in at 5am or waiting until after you drop your daughter off for basketball practive that night. I have been collecting equipment for my at home gym for quite some time now, but I have put together some favorites that can get you started with your own at home gym for under $100. Yes!!! UNDER $100!!! Whether your space is outside, in your bedroom, your family room or any corner you can clear out, you DO have room to create your own at home gym. The following pieces of equipment will get you well on your way to creating a healthy life, happy life. (Click on any of the items to purchase from Amazon. There are tons of awesome benefits that come from doing kettlebell exercises. Kettlebells can improve overall strength, core power, balance, flexibility, and coordination while also melting fat and sculpting lean muscles. It is a very versitile piece of equipment for both cardio and strength exercises. I have selected a 10 pound kettlebell as a good starter bell, but you can choose any weight you’d like ranging from 5 to 50 pounds.
