Friday Favorites

As I'm sitting in the glow of our beautiful tree, I thought I'd take a moment to share some of my recent Friday favorites.

1.  Having all my girls home.

There is such a comfort in having all my girls home and under one roof.  This is a photo from the first Christmas we had after we brought Mekdes home.  I'd love to share a recent photo, but finding one that all 5 girls agree upon would truly be a Christmas miracle!!!!

2.  Dinner with a chef!

To celebrate the holidays with our Empower Fitness ladies, we had Chef Julie Szimon teach us how to prepare a delicious and healthy 3 course meal.  We enjoyed a festive evening full of mouth watering food and meaningful fellowship with an amazing group of women.

wine cork magnets

3.  Handmade gifts.

I made these fun wine cork magnets as little gifts for our holiday Empower Fitness evening.  They are so easy to make and you can even plant succulents in them once it's time to get rid of the evergreens.

7 Day Clean Eating Menu

4.  Our 7 Day Clean Eating Menu is finally here!

We are thrilled to present an entire week of 3 meals and 2 snacks each day that are full of flavor, clean and easy to make!  Each day has a menu accompanied by recipes to help you make healthy changes to your eating routine.  Give yourself the gift of taking the first step towards feeling in control of what you eat or just having an entire week of meals planned out for you with our 7 Day Clean Eating Menu ebook.

a beautiful winter run

5.  A beautiful winter run.

I really enjoyed getting out for a run today!  It was brisk, but there was no wind.  Running gives me the ability to clear my mind of all the holiday clutter and just enjoy being out in nature.

snowmen DIY Friday Favorites

6.  Snowmen.

I loves me some snowmen!  They are always peppered around our home during the holidays.  The girls and I made these handsome fellows several years ago with items from around the house.  Creating memories AND decorations is a winning combination!  Snowmen can stick around for awhile even after Christmas and they aren't specific to any given culture....thus making them multi-cultural in my book!  tee hee!
